About Us

Beanery is the most wonderful little barista van that you ever will see. It’s French, it’s vintage, it’s quirky, it’s creative, it’s fun and it is the cutest catering unit on wheels! It will bring style, sophistication, and glamour to all occasions. Our unique style will add the Oh lá lá to your event and make it extra memorable.
Our Beanery van was born in 1976 and re-born in 2015! Originally she was an ambulance for the French military. She hails from Southern France and wobbled the roads on a mission to recuperate and revive the weary.

The Van

Offering premium coffee service and buckets full of awesomeness to every sort of occasion.

The van is fitted out with a La Marzocco barista machine, one of the world’s finest brands, and it never fails to produce the smoothest coffee.  Our expert barista’s delight in showing off their latte art skills and will be only too pleased to serve up your favourite type of coffee kick.

The van is HSE approved and certified, we have HACCP level 2 trained staff. We offer Tap & go pay card facility and an online payment option.
We have public liability insurance and  5⭐ hygiene rating. We are Eco aware and always have been. Our cups, lids, spoons, napkins, coffee bags and straws are all compostable or recyclable.

Weddings & Private Events

Our Beanery van has been a great hit at weddings. The van ceates a wonderful backdrop for photos. Most guests have had a rushed morning, maybe they’ve missed their breakfast and with no sign of anything to eat until you get to the venue, a fine cup of tea and a tasty treat is the perfect surprise for those rumbly tums. Our after-ceremony treat is the ideal, picturesque and practical surprise to delight all of your guests. It is also the perfect time for guests to mingle and chat while the bridal party get their photos taken inside the Church.

Corporate and Business Events

Corporate days, staff and family days are the ideal way to make your customer and team feel appreciated. They give you a chance to mingle and chat with departments that you never ventured to, learn about their likes and loves, their holidays, their families. Meet the person behind the screen. Bringing your team together and making them feel valued can be as simple as a coffee and a cake. Have a corporate picnic, or maybe organise a corporate run day?

Dry bar hire

The van is available for hire as a dry bar, we can supply staff, glasses, ice, utensils, mixers and fruit and herb garnish.  We do not have a bar license.  We are however permitted to serve alcohol.  We can service any private event where drinks are free to guests – birthdays, weddings, showers, corporate events etc.  We cannot sell alcohol.

Afternoon Tea

Anyone for tea? Create an informal fun day out. Have a tea party. We can cater from 15 persons to 150 with our fine selection of teas and fine fancy delph.
Ideal for family gatherings, retirement parties, birthdays, christenings, work celebrations, hen parties, kid’s parties, any party. We bring the tea, the coffee, the cake the celebration. Ice-cream, sweet treats and soft drinks can also be included.
Tea parties create lovely relaxed occasions where we can meet and mingle at ease. We arrive in our little van, set up our display and serve and chat among your guests.
We have a great variety of breakfast and herbal teas. Any type of barista coffee you could wish for and a fine selection of cakes, sandwiches and scones. We also have a wonderful variety of china cups, saucers, plates to make you feel extra special.

Our first preference to a power point would be for a 32amp socket, second choice a 16amp, however if there is no immediate or large demand on power a 13amp socket will suffice.  Alternatively, we can supply a generator and store it in a separate van to limit the noise.  There is an additional charge for generator hire.

We supply bins for recyclable and general waste.  All of our disposables are compostable, cups, lids, spoons, napkins and straws.  Coffee grounds can be bagged separately for any of your garden loving friends.  All rubbish is removed from site.

A deposit is required to secure your booking.  We request 20% on booking, an additional 30% three months before your event and the balance payable in the week of your celebration.  The initial deposit is not refundable unless cancellation is due to natural disaster or pandemic.
